Jana Dyke

Jana’s passion for economic development began during her childhood years in Leesburg, Georgia, which cultivated into tenure of serving in her hometown’s Chamber of Commerce and local Development Authority at the age of just 19. The excitement and passion of Jana’s talents and economic intuition led the local organization into a season of economic proliferation which created an atmosphere of excitement in her local community just northwest of Albany, Georgia. Jana attended the U.S. Chamber’s Institute for Organizational Development hosted at the University of Notre Dame. Jana worked at the Walton County Chamber of Commerce, and Destin, Florida, Chamber of Commerce where she was the recipient of the ACCE 2005 and 2006 Award of Excellence respectively. Jana Dyke was selected as the Executive Director for the Waycross and Ware County Development Authority in January 2017. During her tenure at the WWDA Jana managed the oversight of $85,000,000 in capital investment and the creation of over 450 jobs during her tenure. Jana is a member of Leadership Georgia's class of 2020 and has recently been selected to serve as the President and CEO for the Albany Dougherty Economic Development Council
