Matthew comes to SEDC from the New York State Association of School Business Officials where he served first as the Senior Staff Associate and then the Coordinator for Professional Development.
“Matthew’s previous association management and meeting planning experience will be a great asset to SEDC,” President Gene Stinson said. “He has extensive experience in the key responsibilities of our operations manager, not only in planning meetings but coordinating speaker logistics and all aspects of the myriad details that go into producing successful events.”
With a background that includes managing programming budgets, administering online content and services, and maintaining a statewide certification program among other responsibilities, SEDC’s operations manager is well-equipped to deliver member services, a crucial component of his role.
“Matthew gained excellent experience in member services as professional development coordinator in his previous position,” Stinson noted. “His interest in taking care of members fits well with the SEDC commitment to customer service.”
