Professional Bio
For over 30 years, Robert has provided consulting services to corporations, states, communities, development agencies, and similar organizations in the U.S. and abroad. He is an acknowledged expert and widely published author in the areas of business location, community and economic development, real estate, market analysis and related fields. He has held various senior positions in the industry including Director of Global Business Location and Economic Development Consulting for Lockwood Greene (now CH2M) and Deputy Director of the Industrial Development Research Council (now CoreNet). In 2009, Robert founded the Janus Institute with a mission to help communities advance. The Institute hosts the Janus Forum that brings together economic developers, site consultants and business executives from around the country to identify and assess key industry issues and opportunities.
