Scott serves as the Director of Business Development with Yates Construction, one of the top contractors in the United States. Scott has served on the site development side and local side of economic development across the American South, announcing over $2,000,000,000 in new capital investments and over 10,000 net new jobs. He has successfully worked with a full range of companies from startup to Fortune 500. His leadership has also successfully supported various workforce development, entrepreneurial, and legislative initiatives.
Recently, Scott was named to Augusta, Georgia's Top 10 Young Professionals to Watch list, a Distinguished Young AFCEAN by the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, named as a 40 under 40 Rising Star in Economic Development by New York based Development Counselors International, and received Top 40 Under 40 Alumni honors from East Carolina University.
