Professional Bio
Shane Chadwick has been working to promote Northwest Florida for growth and diversification, attracting quality companies and fostering new job creation for nearly 5 years.
In September 2018, Chadwick became the Business Intelligence and Marketing Manager of Florida’s Great Northwest (FGNW), the regional economic development organization for the 12-county region of Northwest Florida. FGNW, along with its investors, are a unified voice promoting, advocating and collaborating for Northwest Florida as a top location for business. Since joining FGNW, he and his team have been responsible for attracting the following announced projects to the region:
• Central Moloney Inc. – electrical distribution transformer manufacturer – 200 jobs with a $25 million capital investment
• Cowan Systems – logistics and distribution terminal – 50 jobs in a rural community
• Probes Unlimited Inc. – manufacturer of custom temperature OEM sensing devices – 55 jobs in a rural community
In his current role as the Business Intelligence and Marketing Manager at FGNW, Chadwick is responsible for proactive lead generation, economic development research, and project management.
Chadwick graduated magna cum laude from Mississippi State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration. In addition, he received his master’s degree in economic development from The University of Southern Mississippi. His most recent leadership service and award recognitions include:
• Appointed to the Board of Directors for Pensacola Young Professionals and the Mississippi State University – Northwest Florida Alumni Chapter (2022)
• GIS WebTech Technology Leadership Award (2022)
• Dan Webster Young Innovator Scholarship Award (2021)
• Gazelle Power User (2019)
• Authored a Technical Report on Military Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Diversification Opportunities (June 2018, The University of Southern Mississippi)
