Event Details

Economic developers are experts in identifying and communicating key data points that can influence external audiences, painting their community as an ideal location for business investment and sustainability. A community’s pitch is often born out of critical questions and concerns that arise when interacting with prospects, and then the pitch is only seen by the prospect and key partners involved in the economic development process. With all this great data and information in hand, how can economic developers better leverage their knowledge and expertise to inform key stakeholders, community leaders, and even the community itself of critical economic, workforce, and demographic trends. This session is designed to help you rethink how you use economic development data to empower your community to make critical decisions and develop consensus around sustainable development strategies that can leave a lasting impact on your local economy.

Speaker: Tanner Jones - Associate Director of Economic Development Planning, Steadfast City Economic & Community Partners
